HROTE - Croatian Energy Market Operator
The Croatian Energy Market Operator Ltd (HROTE) began its operations on 4 April 2005. HROTE organises electricity and gas markets as a public service under the supervision of the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency (HERA). In addition, HROTE performs administrative activities related to incentivised electricity production from renewable sources and cogeneration.
HROTE is a 100% Croatian state owned company and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy.
HROTE is the owner of 50% of the Croatian Power Exchange (CROPEX).
